Cow cookie cutter with ejector and embossing

With this cow cookie cutter, you can conjure up adorable biscuits with real Swiss charm in no time at all. The inner embossing draws spots, udders, ears and the characteristic cow silhouette directly into the dough, and the practical ejector removes the motif cleanly from the mold. The mould is suitable for classic butter biscuits, Milanese biscuits, gingerbread biscuits and pointed biscuits as well as for fondant, marzipan and flower paste. The cow cookie cutter is particularly popular for farmhouse children's birthday parties, Alpine and Appenzell events, farmers' retirement parties, Swiss themed parties and as a topping for cupcakes and muffins. The cookie cutter can also be used for aperitifs and buffets. Cheese slices, sausage leaves or puff pastry flakes can be turned into cow-shaped bites that add an authentic touch to alpine aperitifs and Swiss themed buffets. Use baker's starch instead of flour when dusting the work surface and mould. The fine starch glides better, absorbs less dough moisture and leaves no visible marks when baking. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 0.5 cm, cut out the cows, press the stamping button once or twice and lift the dough onto the tray by pressing again. Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven until golden brown, temperature and baking time according to the recipe. Two things are crucial when working with embossing. Roll out the dough evenly, because if it is too thick, the embossing will be flat and if it is too thin, the motif will be brittle. If the dough sticks when you cut it out, it is too warm and needs to be cooled briefly. Kneaded dough requires cold butter. After cooling, decorate the cows with white royal icing as the base color and black or brown spots in the style of the Swiss breeds. The embossing serves as a perfect guide for the lines with the cornet. A small sugar or chocolate teardrop around the neck makes the cow particularly authentic. The cookie cutter is made of plastic and is quickly ready for the dishwasher after use. A charming helper for Swiss baking traditions.
