Cake box with cake plate, 30 x 30 x 15 cm, square

This set of square and silver cake plates makes it easier to transport single-tier to multi-tier cakes safely. What is the set suitable for? For cakes that need to be carried stably and presented attractively. How is it used? The box measures 30 × 30 × 15 cm; the plate fits snugly in the base so that nothing slips. The base is made of food-safe cardboard and is coated with tear-resistant aluminum foil; the surface does not soak thanks to the coating. The set is not reusable. With the box and base, you can reliably transport both light and heavy, single and multi-tier cakes. As a rule of thumb, leave a 2 cm border all round; for a cake with a diameter of 26 cm, a 30 cm plate fits, the border of which can be used decoratively. To assemble the cake, first take thin cardboard bases: a smaller base (1-2 cm smaller than the cake) and a slightly larger one underneath for lifting. Chill the cake for an hour, place it on a rotating cake plate and only then remove the cake ring. For a secure hold, place a dollop of buttercream, ganache or jam in the center of the final plate and place 3-4 cake pins per tier. You can use the edge of the plate to conceal transitions and for decorations such as buttercream flowers or a cake ribbon. Lift the cake together with the plate into the box, put the lid on and run a ribbon crosswise around the box; ideally a second person should help. The cake box and base are a practical solution for safe and stylish cake transportation.
