This set of white cardboard box and silver, embossed cake plate is ideal for safely transporting both light and heavy, single or multi-tiered cakes. The set includes a perfectly fitting plate that does not slip in the box. What is the set suitable for? The cake box and base accompany you during the assembly, presentation and transportation of your cake. The base is made of food-safe cardboard and is covered with tear-resistant aluminum foil; the coated surface does not soak. The set is not reusable. How is it used? First layer your cake on thin cake bases, chill for about an hour and only then remove the cake ring, ideally on a rotating cake plate. Secure the cake in the middle of the final plate with a dollop of buttercream, ganache or jam to prevent it from sliding. For tiers, we recommend using 3-4 cake sticks per tier. You can use the edge of the plate decoratively to elegantly conceal transitions. For the right size, leave a border of approx. 2 cm all around; for example, a cake with a diameter of 26 cm needs a plate with a diameter of 30 cm. Use a spatula to lift the decorated cake and plate onto the base of the box, place the lid on top and secure everything with a ribbon crossed under the box. If possible, ask for help when carrying the cake - this will ensure that it reaches its destination safely.
