Grease-repellent disks made of food-safe cardboard support you in the professional production, lifting and repositioning of cakes. The set includes 10 sturdy disks with a coated top and cardboard backing. They are around 0.8 mm thick, offer reliable stability and can be cut to the right size if required. In combination with a cake ring, they serve as an inconspicuous base so that the sponge and cream do not break when lifted with a spatula. The slice should be about 2 cm smaller than the cake and ring so that it is not visible from the outside. How are they used? Insert an appropriately smaller disk, lift the cake with the spatula and place it securely to spread the edge cleanly or to add decorations such as sprinkles, brittle or chocolate sprinkles. Spread the edge with a slightly sticky mixture (e.g. whipped cream, buttercream, chocolate or filling) beforehand, lift the cake briefly with the spatula, take it in your hand and press the decoration material from the bottom upwards, then set the cake down again. What are they suitable for? For securely repositioning and neatly decorating the edge, for example on cream cakes. This version is intended for single use and cannot be cleaned.
