These round cake disks are a practical professional aid for the safe assembly, lifting and repositioning of cakes. What are they suitable for? As a stable, greaseproof base, they prevent sponge cake from breaking or cream from being damaged. The set is made of food-safe cardboard; the white side is coated and greaseproof, the reverse side is made of normal cardboard. These cake slices are around 0.8 mm thick and therefore particularly stable - ideal in combination with a cake ring to lift the cake using a spatula. How is it used? Insert a slice that is about 2 cm smaller than the cake and cake ring so that the base remains invisible and it is easier to spread the edge. To decorate the edges, spread whipped cream, buttercream or chocolate on top, lift the cake slightly with the spatula and press decorations such as sprinkles, brittle or chocolate flakes from the bottom to the top. The slices are intended for single use and can be cut to the right size if required. With the cake slices, you are always in control when lifting, decorating and moving the cake.
