With the flat sports shoe cookie cutter, 8 cm, you can make cool biscuits with a sneakers look. The shape is perfect for sweet or savoury doughs and for decorations made from fondant or marzipan. The cookie cutter measures 8 × 4 × 2.5 cm. The embossing creates detailed sports shoe biscuits that add variety to any baking tray. Dust the work surface, hands, rolling pin and mould lightly with flour before use. Roll out the dough to a thickness of approx. 0.5 cm and cut out the motifs. Bake the biscuits on a baking tray lined with baking paper at 200 °C until golden brown. When rolled out thinly, the biscuits will be crispy; for softer varieties, a thickness of 0.5 cm is recommended. For a stable dough, we recommend using cold butter, as this holds the dough together. If necessary, place the dough in the fridge for a few minutes as soon as it becomes too sticky or too warm. After baking and cooling, you can decorate the biscuits with royal icing. Apply the icing with a brush. The cookie cutter is also suitable for decorating with fondant or marzipan. To do this, roll out the mixture with a little baking starch and cut out the motifs. After use, the mould can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
