The croissant cutter brings the typical crescent shape to Christmas and Advent baking. The classic motif is one of the traditional biscuit shapes and is particularly popular in Switzerland and Austria. The cutter is made from robust stainless steel and has clean, precise edges. The material is tasteless, rustproof and dishwasher-safe. The cutter is suitable for classic butter biscuits, cinnamon stars, Milanese biscuits and all standard biscuit doughs. It also works reliably for fondant, marzipan and puff pastry decorations. To use, prepare the dough according to the selected recipe and leave to cool thoroughly. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface using a rolling pin. Baker's starch is particularly suitable as it is finer and does not dry out the dough. Dip the cutter lightly in flour before cutting out the shapes so that they come away cleanly from the edge. Carefully lift the cut out biscuits onto the baking tray using an angled pallet. Set the temperature and baking time according to the selected recipe. Classic vanilla crescent dough, almond crescents or nut crescents bake reliably. After baking, roll in powdered sugar with vanilla to create the characteristic sugary, fine surface.
