Roll out the dough as thin (crispy) or approx. 0.5 cm (softer) as desired, flour the work surface, hands, rolling pin and cutter, cut out the motifs and bake at 200 °C until golden brown. The 9 cm owl cookie cutter is made of stainless steel, making it robust and easy to clean. Use cold butter for dough that holds its shape; if the dough becomes sticky, chill it briefly in the fridge. Decorate cooled biscuits with royal icing and color it with ProGel colors if required; you can apply it with a brush or cornet. The owl can also be used as a cutter for fondant or marzipan figures to create decorative accents on cakes.
