Roll out the dough thinly and flour the work surface, hands, rolling pin and mold - this way nothing sticks and the dough does not tear. When rolled out thinly, the biscuits will be crispy. For softer results, leave the dough approx. 0.5 cm thick. Place the cut-out cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C until golden brown. A practical tip: cold butter is suitable for kneading dough, it gives stability; if the dough becomes warm and sticky, put it in the fridge briefly. Warm butter is more suitable for smooth cake doughs. What to decorate with? Once the biscuits have cooled, they can be colored with icing, royal icing or food coloring and decorated with sprinkles. To decorate, roll out the fondant or marzipan with a little baking starch and a rolling pin and cut out the motif. After use, rinse the stainless steel mold under running water or put it in the dishwasher.
