This set combines a sturdy cake box 30 x 30 x 15 cm with a round, silver cake plate Ø 30 cm - ideal for safe transportation and neat presentation, even for multi-tiered cakes. How do you determine the right size? Leave approx. 2 cm free all round - a 30 cm plate fits a 26 cm cake diameter. The base is made of food-safe cardboard, is covered with tear-resistant aluminum foil and retains its shape thanks to the coating; the box is made of white cardboard. The set is not reusable. The cake plate has a slightly embossed pattern and is also suitable as a decorative edge: decorations with buttercream, fondant figures or cake ribbon are a clean success. To assemble the cake, first work on intermediate bases (a small cardboard base with a slightly larger one underneath), cool the cake briefly and use a rotating plate if necessary. A dab of buttercream, ganache or jam fixes the cake to the aluminum surface, 3-4 cake pins per tier provide stability. The box and base fit together exactly so that the plate does not slip in the box. For safe transportation, put the lid on, run a ribbon around the box and tie it closed.
