For the right plate size, we recommend leaving a 2 cm border all around, so that there is room for decorating and a secure grip. How is it used? First layer your cake on a small cardboard base that is 1-2 cm smaller than the cake and place a slightly larger base underneath for lifting. After an hour's cooling time, remove the cake ring, preferably on a rotating cake plate, smooth the surface with buttercream, ganache or fondant and assemble the tiers one after the other. Use 3-4 cake sticks per tier for stability. A dab of buttercream, ganache or jam in the center of the plate secures the bottom layer before placing it in the middle of the final plate. Now comes the decorating: Use the edge of the plate to elegantly conceal any transitions. Lift the finished cake and plate directly into the box and close it securely. The box is made of white cardboard and is 15 cm high. The base is made of food-safe cardboard and is covered with tear-resistant aluminum foil; the embossed pattern is discreet and the surface does not soak thanks to the coating. The set is not reusable. If required, place a ribbon around the closed box for transportation and tie it into a bow - this will keep everything in place.
