Create romantic cakes and airy heart-shaped sponge cakes with the elegant, suitable for the oven, fridge and freezer and easy to clean in the dishwasher after use. Thanks to its open base, the cake ring distributes the heat perfectly so that sponge cakes turn out even and airy. Place the ring on a straight baking tray lined with baking paper, ideally on a perforated tray, pour in a little sponge cake batter and bake. Leave the sponge to cool completely, remove it cleanly from the edge with a knife, cut the bases with a cake cutter or cake saw and line the cleaned ring with a strip of cake liner. Ideal for layering cakes with creams, jellies or caramel. The ring also holds thick fillings securely in shape. Practical for transferring: Use a small cardboard base (1-2 cm smaller) with a larger base underneath. The cake ring can be used to chill or freeze until firm; the ring can then be easily removed and reused.
