The 10-piece stainless steel hole grommet set combines the most important round openings in one collection. From fine 2 mm openings for lettering to large diameters for éclairs and macarons, the set covers the entire spectrum of round decorating work. Its main areas of application are cake lettering with royal icing, macaron shells in various sizes, cream puffs, éclairs, meringue dots, ganache decorations, choux fillings and dots patterns. Smaller sizes can also be used for filling Berliners and doughnuts. The nozzle can be inserted directly into the disposable piping bag by shortening the tip to the appropriate size. A nozzle adapter is recommended for more flexibility: Place the inner part in the bag, attach the nozzle and secure it with the outer ring. This allows you to change the nozzle during the piping process without having to empty the bag. To prevent leakage at the nozzle, turn the bag in briefly behind it and stuff the twist point into the opening. With the top edge folded down, place the bag in a holder or tall cup, the mixture can then be poured in cleanly. A few simple steps make the difference between shaky and professional. Buttercream should be at room temperature and stirred smooth, too cold it is tough, too warm it becomes runny. Cream should be chilled and not whipped too stiffly, otherwise it will break when pressed. Only fill the bag halfway so that it can be handled safely. For macarons, pipe even circles onto a baking paper template with curves marked on it so that all the shells are the same size. For lettering with a small hole opening, hold the nozzle just above the surface and allow the mixture to fall like a thread, making the lines particularly even. A nozzle adapter is particularly practical with this set, as the nozzles can be changed frequently depending on the work step. A flat box is suitable for storing the nozzles so that they do not get bent. Immediately after piping, the nozzle is placed under hot water to prevent dried residue in the prongs. The best way to reach the inner edges is to use a conical nozzle brush. The stainless steel is rustproof and completely dishwasher-safe. The small openings in particular benefit from a conical grommet brush.
