Swiss meringue buttercream, 4000 g
Here you will find the ideal preparation for making a delicious Swiss Meringue buttercream in no time at all. All you need to do is add butter and water to make this type of buttercream and you're ready to start decorating. It is less sweet than normal buttercreams, but can be used in the same way. For spreading and filling cakes and for decorating cupcakes.
Preparation: All ingredients must be at room temperature. For one portion: Beat 100 g mixture with 70 ml warm tap water for 8 minutes with a whisk on the highest setting until frothy. Add 220 g butter to the mixture in 4 parts and whisk until the butter has completely dissolved before adding the next part. Beat at high speed for approx. 8 minutes until smooth. One portion of cream is enough to fill and frost 1 20 cm cake or to decorate approx. 12 cupcakes.
