This heart-shaped cake base provides a stable, elegant base for cakes for birthdays, anniversaries or weddings. It is made of food-safe cardboard, covered with tear-resistant aluminum foil and discreetly embossed. What is it suitable for? For light cakes as well as heavy, multi-tiered cakes - also for safe transportation. How is it used? Leave a border of approx. 2 cm all round; choose a plate that is approx. 4 cm larger than the cake diameter. The Ø 25 cm heart cake plate is therefore ideal if you want to present a compact cake with a clean edge. For fondant cakes, you can cover the plate with the same fondant: Roll out the fondant 2-3 mm thin with baker's thickness, place on top, smooth with the fondant smoother and cut neatly around the edge. For a non-slip grip, place a small blob of buttercream, ganache or jam in the center of the plate before placing. When layering, work on auxiliary bases first and only place the cake on the final plate at the end; reuse is not recommended as the cake base cannot be cleaned. Thanks to its elegant look, the heart cake plate blends harmoniously into any cake design.
