This set includes a cake box (20 x 20 x 15 cm) and a round, silver cake plate with Ø 20 cm - ideal for safe transportation and stylish presentation, whether light or heavy. What is the set suitable for? For assembling, spreading, stacking and transporting your cakes from A to Z. To ensure that everything fits, we recommend leaving 2 cm of free space all around; you can decorate this edge later with flowers, buttercream or fondant. The cake plate is embossed with a fine pattern and made of food-safe cardboard, covered with tear-resistant aluminum foil; the coated surface does not soften. How is it used? First layer the bases on thin cardboard: A small cardboard base (1-2 cm smaller than the cake) on a slightly larger auxiliary base makes it easier to lift. Chill the cake, place it in the middle of the final plate and secure the base with a little buttercream, ganache or jam. A rotating cake plate and a good spatula help to ensure smooth edges. Each tier is placed in the following order: large auxiliary base, small cardboard base, cake; carefully remove the large, visible auxiliary base before stacking. To prevent multi-tiered cakes from sinking, 3-4 cake pins per tier are sufficient. The plate fits snugly in the box and cannot slip. Put the lid on and secure the box with a ribbon, which is crossed at the bottom and tied into a bow at the top; a helping hand provides additional security. The box is made of white cardboard, the base is made of food-safe cardboard with tear-resistant aluminum foil. The set is not reusable.
