The silicone mat is the universal work surface for all baking work. It can be used for rolling out, baking, modelling and even freezing dough and decorations. The printed diameters and units of measurement are practical. This allows you to roll out fondant precisely for your cakes without having to measure separately. Dough for cakes or biscuits is also evenly thick. Food-grade silicone is the basis: flexible, heat-resistant, non-stick. Baking paper is superfluous. The mat measures 60 x 40 cm. It is non-slip, tear-resistant and ovenproof up to 230 °C. It can also be used for freezing. Sprinkle a little baking starch on the mat to roll it out. This makes it easy to roll out fondant thinly and evenly. Colored fondant does not leave any marks. You can also roll up the mat if you need to transport it. Cookies can be cut out directly on the mat and then baked in the oven. This saves one work step and the mat acts as baking paper. The mat is also very useful for modeling. Figures made from modelling fondant, flowers made from flower paste or decorative elements can be formed on it and can dry or harden directly on the mat if required. The silicone surface is sensitive to sharp cuts. Work with plastic scrapers or spatulas. Clean by hand with hot dishwater. The mat is not dishwasher-safe. Allow to dry thoroughly and roll up to save space.
