Beaver mold for chocolate

With this mold, you can create a charming chocolate beaver in no time at all - an original figure that is ideal as a gift, seasonal item or decorative showpiece. Whether for animal lovers, children's birthday parties or as an unusual alternative to classic chocolate figures, the beaver is guaranteed to make eyes light up. Before casting, clean the chocolate mold with lukewarm water and mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Then hold the mold by the edges only and polish it to a high gloss with non-fraying absorbent cotton. Only use well-tempered couverture - chocolate must never come into contact with water. Colored cocoa butter or tempered couverture are suitable for making up the typical beaver features; white couverture can also be colored with fat-soluble powder dyes. Work from the outside in and apply the color directly to the mold with a fine brush, sponge or with the help of gloves. Allow the layers of paint to set slightly in between and turn the mold over to check the motif. In the next step, coat the entire mold with couverture to avoid air bubbles. Clean the edges with a metal horn, stick the two halves together and secure them with the clips provided. Fill the mold completely with couverture, tap lightly on the edge so that air bubbles rise to the top, allow excess chocolate to run out and repeat the process if necessary for a thicker wall. Remove drops cleanly before cooling the mold for 2-5 minutes. Spread some couverture on baking paper and carefully press the slightly chilled mold into it. After a further 10-15 minutes cooling time, remove the clamps, cool briefly and carefully remove the beaver from the mold. You can then decorate the figure with fondant, sugar decorations or additional chocolate details and package it attractively. With the Biber chocolate mould, you can create an expressive, detailed chocolate figure that looks particularly lively thanks to the different couverture colors and will delight every chocolate lover.
