Colored Deco Melts for all your creative baking ideas
Do you love cake pops and want to make some for a children's birthday party? Or have you fallen for the drip cake trend?
We have the perfect helpers for all these creative projects: our new Deco Melts in many colors - natural white, white, black, red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, purple, pink and brown.
These colored drops are particularly easy to use because, unlike chocolate, they do not need to be tempered. Once they have cooled, they regain a beautiful shine, ideal for decorating your sweet creations.
Want to mix your own color? White Deco Melts can be mixed with our Chocolate food coloring color very easily.
And if you prefer the taste of milk chocolate, why not try our Deco Melts with milk chocolate flavor - just as easy to use!
How do you melt the Deco Melts?
In a bain-marie : When the first melts have melted, remove them from the bain-marie and melt the rest, stirring carefully (if not all the melts have melted, put them back in the bain-marie for a few seconds).
Caution : Make sure that no drops of water fall into the candy melts, otherwise they will become mushy and unusable!
Microwave : Heat the Candy Melts in short intervals of no more than 30 seconds, stirring between passes in the microwave so that the melts do not get too hot! Tip : Dilute the Deco Melts with vegetable oil (rapeseed oil) or cocoa butter so that they are less viscous and therefore easier to use.
If you have any Deco Melt left over after use, you can store it in a freezer or an airtight container. Simply decant it when it is still liquid. It will then harden and you can melt it again the next time you use it. Don't hesitate to chop it up so that it melts more easily.
