With this ring, you can create elegant cakes and airy sponge cakes. It can be placed in the oven, fridge or freezer. What is it particularly suitable for? For evenly baked sponge cakes, clean layering of cakes and safe cooling until firm. How is it used? Place the ring on a flat tray lined with baking paper; a perforated tray is ideal so that the heat reaches the dough evenly. Fill it with sponge, leave the pastry to cool after baking and remove it from the edge with a knife. To assemble the cake, fit the clean ring with a cake insert strip; even thick fillings such as caramel or cake jelly will stay reliably in the ring. The cake ring prevents the filling from running out and ensures even results. Use a cake cutter or a cake saw to cut the bases and work with a small cardboard base (1-2 cm smaller than the cake) plus a slightly larger base to make it easy to turn the cake. After chilling in the fridge or freezer, the cake ring can be easily removed thanks to the insert strips and cleaned in the dishwasher.
