The round aluminum tray is light yet sturdy enough to support even heavier cakes; it does not give off any taste and is the perfect helper when creating multi-layer cake projects. The tray is also suitable for storing finished cakes in the fridge and freezer. What is it suitable for? You prepare your cake on it right from the start: place a suitable cake ring on it and choose a slightly smaller ring if you want it to be easy to grip from the outside, or a slightly larger ring if the plate is primarily intended to provide stability. If the cake is to be removed from the tray before serving, place baking paper on top or place a slice of cake in the ring. Use the 30 cm diameter cake tin to lift the prepared cake easily. If the tray is smaller than the cake, use a second, larger tray to transport the cake; thanks to the lack of a rim, it can easily be slid under the cake. How is it used? This tray makes it easy to place the cake in the fridge or freezer; after cooling, place it and the tray on a rotating cake plate. Spreading with cream, buttercream or ganache and decorating is quicker this way. Shortly before serving, place the cake on a suitable cake plate: If the tray is larger than the cake, use a spatula to lift it over; for smaller trays, the cake and tray can be placed on the plate. The Ø 30 cm cake tin can be washed quickly by hand and used again straight away - making cake baking fun!
