The Ø 26 cm cake tin is light yet sturdy and can reliably support even heavier cakes. It does not release any flavor into your cake, so you can chill or freeze your creations without worrying. Prepare your cake directly on the plate. Place a cake ring on top, slightly smaller if it is to be removed from the outside, or slightly larger if the plate is only for stability. If the cake is to be removed from the tray before serving, place baking paper on top or place a slice of cake in the ring. Once the cake has been prepared, it can simply be lifted up together with the tray. If the tray is smaller than the cake, place a second, larger tray underneath for transportation. You can safely place your cake in the fridge or freezer with the cake tin, as the aluminum can easily withstand low temperatures. To spread the cake, place the well-chilled cake and tray on a rotating cake plate; this makes it easier to apply cream, buttercream or ganache, and decorating is also quicker. Just before serving, lift the cake onto the appropriate plate. Either remove it from the tray with a spatula or, if you have a smaller tray, place it directly on the tray. What is it suitable for?
