Cat mold for chocolate

With the chocolate cat mold, you can create an enchanting, detailed chocolate figure in no time at all - perfect as a sweet gift, a lovely surprise or an unusual decoration for any occasion. Whether for animal lovers, cat lovers or as an original alternative to classic chocolate figures, this charming chocolate cat is guaranteed to make people smile. Before you start casting, clean the mold with lukewarm water and mild detergent, rinse it thoroughly and dry it completely. Then polish the mold with non-fraying absorbent cotton to give your cat a beautiful shine later on. Then only touch the edge of the mold and allow it to come to room temperature - this will give you a flawless result. Only use well-tempered couverture for the production, as chocolate reacts very sensitively to moisture; water must never get into the mold or the couverture. Colored cocoa butter or tempered couverture are suitable for make-up. White couverture can be colored with fat-soluble powder paint; for natural coat colors, you can creatively mix different shades of chocolate. Always work from the outside in: paint fine details such as eyes, nose, whiskers and fur structure with a thin brush, larger areas can be created with a sponge or your fingertips (in gloves). Allow each layer to dry well and turn the mold over from time to time to check the result. Then coat the entire mold with tempered couverture so that there are no air bubbles and the wall thickness is even. Clean the edges carefully with the metal horn, join the mold halves together and secure them with the clamps provided. Now fill the mold completely, tap lightly on the edge, pour out any excess couverture and repeat the process if necessary until the wall thickness is perfect. Wipe off any drips and chill the mold for 2-5 minutes. For a stable base, spread some couverture on baking paper and press the chilled mold into it. After a further 10-15 minutes cooling time, remove the clamps, briefly chill the mold again and carefully remove the chocolate cat. Finally, you can decorate the figure as desired with fondant, royal icing or sugar decorations and wrap it up nicely. With the chocolate cat mold, you can create characterful, lovingly designed chocolate figures with expressive details - a cute chocolate cat that will delight every cat fan.
