On Buttercream, Fondant, sugar icing or Ganache they can be placed on somewhat earlier without any issue. If the finished decorated baked goods are stored in the refrigerator, keep the time there as short as possible, as the humid refrigerator air can also soften the decoration over time. Store any remaining figures in a dry, cool and light-protected location at 12–20°C – ideally kept in the original packaging until they are used.
