This set contains three white ghost figures with friendly faces made from royal icing – spookily cute, ready to use straight away, and requiring absolutely no preparation. Simply take them out of the packaging, place them on the cake or cupcake – done. No modelling, no drying, no effort. What sets these figures apart from flat sugar decorations is their three-dimensionality: they literally stand on the baked goods, adding depth and volume and creating an eye-catching focal point that is immediately striking. The figures are made from royal icing – a mixture of sugar and egg powder that is piped in multiple layers and fully hardened. This results in slightly crisp, shape-stable figures that reliably maintain their three-dimensional form. Three ghosts per pack – as individual toppers on three cupcakes or as a spooky trio on a cake.

On Buttercream, Ganache, Cake icing and icing, the figures stand securely and adhere without any aids. On smooth Fondant, it is recommended to fix the underside of the figure with a small dot of melted chocolate – this keeps the ghost safely in place even during transport. The white colour of the ghosts looks particularly striking on dark backgrounds. On black Fondant, dark chocolate Ganache or orange icing, an impressive contrast is created – for a spookily beautiful Halloween decoration that delights immediately. Royal icing is sensitive to moisture. If exposed to too much moisture, it becomes soft and the figures lose their shape. On very moist creams such as freshly whipped cream, mascarpone or quark, therefore place the ghosts only shortly before serving. On Buttercream, Fondant, icing or Ganache they can easily be placed somewhat earlier, as these surfaces release less moisture. If the decorated baked goods are stored in the refrigerator, keep the time there as short as possible – the moist air in the refrigerator can soften the icing over time. 

Store the ghost figures in a dry, cool and dark place at 12–20°C. Do not store in the refrigerator – the moisture will soften the royal icing. Store in the original packaging until use.
