Rolling pin beech, 33 cm

With the wooden rolling pin made of beech wood (33 cm), you can roll out your dough very thinly. Dusted with a little flour, the dough won't stick together, so you can relax and get on with the Advent season, baking biscuits or preparing a wide variety of pastries and tarts. First prepare the dough according to the recipe. Dough that needs to rise should first be left to rest according to the recipe. The easiest way to work cookie dough and tart bases is to leave them in the fridge overnight. Fondant or other decorative doughs should be pre-kneaded well and worked with sufficient baking starch. Dust your clean work surface lightly with flour. Use sugar for Brunsli dough, baker's starch is suitable for many other doughs. Press the prepared dough slightly flat and place it in the middle of the work surface. Dust the surface of the dough lightly with flour and rub the rolling pin lightly to achieve optimum results. Now roll the dough outwards from the center again and again. For round doughs, turn them in between to work evenly in all directions. Roll out rectangular doughs in two directions. Depending on how sticky the dough is, you should keep dusting it with flour and lifting it from time to time to prevent it from sticking to the surface. Some doughs pull together when you roll them out. Be patient, allow the dough to rest briefly and then continue rolling it out. Do not pull on the dough, otherwise it may tear. To lift the dough, you can place the stick on one side and carefully fold the other half over it before placing it on a baking tray or in a tart tin. Once the dough has been rolled out nice and thin, it can be topped, cut out or carefully pressed into the tart, quiche or wähen tin. Thanks to the smooth surface of the rolling pin, the dough remains even and does not stick. It is best to clean the wooden rolling pin by hand with a damp cloth or, if it is very dirty, under running water. Do not soak the rolling pin for long and allow it to dry completely after cleaning.
