For Gugelhupf, Frankfurter Kranz and other sponge cakes. How is it used? Grease the tin or spray it with baking spray, pour in the batter and bake at 160 °C; test with a skewer at the end. Leave the cake to cool briefly in the tin, turn it out or loosen it, dust it with powdered sugar - or cut it open and fill it with custard buttercream; the wreath becomes classic with hazelnut brittle and cherries.
