Rosette spout 13 mm

The 13 mm rosette nozzle conjures up beautiful rosettes, curved flowers and decorative toppings with a characteristic grooved profile in just a few simple steps. The 13 mm size is particularly versatile and is one of the most popular standard sizes for rosette decorations. Its main areas of application are flower-shaped cupcake and muffin toppings, elegant cake borders, dessert decorations, piped cookies and Christmas cookies such as Spritzbredeli. Ideal batters are buttercream, whipped cream, chocolate cream, cream cheese toppings, meringue batters and firmer doughs for piped cookies. The nozzle can be inserted directly into the disposable piping bag by shortening the tip to the right size. A nozzle adapter is recommended for more flexibility: Place the inner part in the bag, attach the nozzle and secure with the outer ring. This allows you to change the nozzle during the piping process without having to empty the bag. To prevent leakage from the nozzle, turn the bag in briefly behind it and stuff the twist point into the opening. With the top edge folded down, place the bag in a holder or tall cup, the mixture can then be poured in cleanly. A few simple steps make the difference between shaky and professional. Buttercream should be at room temperature and stirred until smooth, too cold it is tough, too warm it becomes runny. Cream should be chilled and not whipped too stiffly, otherwise it will break when pressed. For a classic rosette, place the spout vertically above the center and pipe outwards in a circle while gently releasing the pressure at the end. For a higher topping, spiral from the outer edge upwards in a circle into the center. Individual flowers can be made with a little pressure and a slight twist of the wrist. For classic spritzbredeli, pipe directly onto the baking paper, press evenly and lift the bag slightly at the end. For shortcrust pastry and piped cookies, the dough should be smooth but not too soft, otherwise the grooves will lose their contour. Immediately after piping, run the nozzle under hot water to prevent dried-on residue in the prongs. The best way to reach the inner edges is to use a conical nozzle brush. The stainless steel is rustproof and completely dishwasher-safe.
