First put a small dot of buttercream or egg white icing on the flower nail and fix a piece of wax paper or baking paper on top; this way, the iced flowers can be easily lifted off after use and set aside to dry. When piping, start with the rose tip piping tip in the center of the flower; make sure that the wider end of the tip touches the nail. Rotate the nail a full turn while piping the decorating mixture evenly. Spray the outer leaves layer by layer with the piping bag and nozzle, overlapping slightly for a natural look. To change the piping nozzle or color, briefly insert the tip into a piece of polystyrene.
