Thanks to the cleverly integrated indentations, the molds sit comfortably in the hand, protect the fingers and make it easier to cleanly remove excess chocolate, resulting in particularly precise results. The mold is ideal for large, detailed football hemispheres, which can be perfectly assembled into a ball after hardening. For optimum gloss, the mold is first washed out with warm water, dried thoroughly and then polished with a soft, dry cloth. Individual accents can then be added: fine lines and contrasts using tempered couverture, colorful details with cocoa butter paint or modern speckling techniques applied with a toothbrush. After pouring and complete hardening, two hemispheres are joined together at the edge with a thin layer of couverture to create a perfectly shaped, large chocolate football. For a particularly elegant or sporty look, the finished ball can also be decorated with powdered colors, glitter, sprinkles, edible flowers or colored chocolate.
