Ensure a secure, airtight seal for your round rim preserving jars when preserving. These preserving rings are suitable for jar openings with Ø 60 mm. How should you use the preserving rings? Before use, boil the rings in boiling water with a dash of vinegar for about 5 minutes. Then allow to cool briefly, drain and place on the rim of the jar while still slightly damp. When boiling down, together with the lid and clamps (available separately), they create the characteristic vacuum for reliable preservation. The rings, which are suitable for Ø 60 mm openings, are hygienic, practical and intended for single use. For optimum shelf life, please store in a dry, dust-free place, protected from UV light. Please also do not store below 0 °C.
