With the Stencil Alencon Lace Companion, you can add elegant edge decorations or central motifs to cakes and cupcakes in no time at all. The discreet garland has a festive look and additional decorations can be placed on top with ease. Use the Stencil Companion to create even patterns on the edges or design individual elements on cupcakes. The stencil is particularly suitable for edge garlands, fine accents on fondant, dessert plates and even milk foam. Mix some royal icing or use chocolate, divide and colour the mixture as required. Place the stencil on a smooth, non-soft surface such as cake or fondant. Apply a thin layer with a small angled spatula, spread it evenly until there are no visible gaps, wipe off any excess and carefully lift off the stencil. Alternatively, you can apply fine paint with an airbrush. To do this, fix the stencil in place, spray lightly and clean thoroughly after each use. For a simple decoration, dust cakes with powdered sugar or use cocoa powder for milk foam and the edge of a dessert plate.
