With this practical ring, you can make delicious cakes and fluffy sponge cakes in the oven, fridge or freezer. The cake ring can be used in the oven, fridge and freezer and is easy to clean in the dishwasher after baking or shaping. What is the ring suitable for? For baking even sponge bases and for neatly stacking fillings. How is it used? Place the ring on a flat baking tray lined with baking paper; a perforated tray is ideal for optimum heat circulation. Fill the sponge cake sparingly as it will rise during baking. Without a base, the heat reaches the dough directly and ensures an airy, even result. Leave the base to cool completely; if you only want to use it the next day, cover it with a second tray. Loosen the edge with a knife and cut even slices with a cake cutter or a cake saw. For layering, cover the cleaned ring with a cake insert strip. Do not work on the final cake plate: use a small cardboard base (1-2 cm smaller than the cake) and place a slightly larger base underneath so that you can easily move the cake. Even thick components such as caramel or cake jelly remain securely in place thanks to the ring. Place the cake with the ring in the fridge or freezer; as soon as it is firm, the ring can be easily removed and is immediately ready for use again.
