Praline boxes turn your homemade chocolates into a gift and protect them on the way. When choosing chocolate boxes, three things matter: the number of pieces, the presentation and the material. Which size and style?

• 4, 6, 9 and 12 pralines: card boxes in ten colours from white and light brown to gold, some with a clear lid. The gold insert keeps each praline separate so they do not touch.
• 9 to 36 pralines: wooden boxes for 9, 12, 16, 24 and 36 pieces – reusable and ideal for special gifts.
• Small favours: handbag praline boxes in eleven colours, boxes in sets of two and seasonal designs such as the Christmas village.
• Clear packaging: boxes and tubes with a gold base, for example 6.8 x 6.8 cm for a few pieces or 18.5 cm long for a row of pralines or macarons.

Packing tips

Place each praline in a matching praline case: it stays in position, the surface stays clean and filling the box is quicker. Only pack fully set, cooled pralines and store the boxes somewhere cool and dry, away from strong-smelling foods, as chocolate picks up odours easily. The card boxes are coated and grease-resistant; many styles arrive ready assembled or fold up quickly along pre-scored lines.

How many pralines do I need for a gift?

For a small thank-you, 4 to 6 pieces are enough; for a birthday or Christmas, 9 to 16 pralines are typical. Boxes of 24 or 36 suit families, teams or assortments.

Are the boxes suitable for food?

Yes, they are designed for packing pralines and sweets. For a neat presentation we still recommend praline cases or the gold insert.

Will truffles and moulded pralines fit?
