Disney & cartoon cake toppers

Favourite characters from films and TV series make every birthday cake the star of the party. In this category you will find Frozen, Paw Patrol and Skye, Minnie and Mickey, Peppa Pig, Stitch and Pokémon cake toppers, including sets of 16 or 30 cake toppers and «Happy Birthday» toppers. That way the birthday child recognises their favourite character as soon as the cake arrives at the table.

There is also a wide choice of cake figures: Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Sven and the salamander from Frozen, Winnie the Pooh with his honey pot, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet, Simba, Rafiki, Timon and Pumbaa from The Lion King, Mowgli, Baloo, Bagheera and King Louie from The Jungle Book, Peter Pan and Captain Hook, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Scrooge McDuck, Goofy and Pluto, Stitch, Lightning McQueen from Cars and a Yakari set with three figures.

Edible image, topper or figure?

Edible cake images show a large motif across the whole cake, for example Frozen with Olaf, Stitch, Peppa Pig, Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Cars or Paw Patrol; the rectangular Stitch image measures 21 x 15 cm. For cupcakes there are smaller edible toppers that are either pre-cut or cut out with scissors. The packs of 16 Frozen, Paw Patrol, Minnie and Stitch cake toppers each contain 8 different designs, while the 30 Mickey cake toppers are made of paper and have 6 designs. The cake figures are not edible, become toys after the party and most models are light enough not to sink into the cake.

Tips for a character cake

• Packs of 16 or 30 toppers are enough for the cake and cupcakes, so the whole dessert table matches the theme.
• Match the frosting colour to the character, for example icy blue for Frozen or pink for Peppa Pig and Minnie.
• Place figures on a well-chilled, smoothly covered cake; the PVC Elsa and Anna figures are best set on a small piece of fondant or wafer paper. Lay edible images flat and free of air bubbles on a dry surface such as fondant or marzipan.
• With a gift set such as the Frozen figures or the Yakari set, the cake decoration doubles as a present for the birthday child.

Questions about Disney and cartoon toppers

What happens to the cake figures after the party?

The cake figures are toys and are not eaten. Remove them before cutting the cake, give them a quick wipe and they can move to the playroom or a collection.

Which Paw Patrol products are suitable for cupcakes?

For cupcakes there are the cupcake toppers and mini edible toppers with Chase, Skye, Marshall, Rubble and Everest, small edible cake images and the 16 Paw Patrol cake toppers. For the cake itself, choose the round Paw Patrol cake image, the Skye cake topper, the cake topper set and the «Happy Birthday» topper with Chase, Skye and Rubble.

Are there figures from classic Disney films too?

Yes. With figures from Winnie the Pooh, The Lion King, The Jungle Book and Peter Pan or with Mickey Mouse Classic and Minnie Mouse Classic, you can create a nostalgic cake that grown-ups will love too.
