Buying advice

• Pink or rose gold: bright pink feels cheerful and playful, while rose gold is more subtle and looks lovely on white, cream or nude cakes.
• With glitter: the rose gold and pink glitter series sparkle in the candlelight and look great in photos.
• Candle with a crown: the pink number candles with a little crown are perfect for princess and unicorn cakes.
• Match them up: for a two-digit age, pick two digits from the same series so shade and size are identical.

Frequently asked questions

Which cake colour goes with rose gold candles?

Rose gold pairs beautifully with white, cream, dusky pink and soft pastels. A pink drip cake or fresh berries as decoration also work very well.

Are pink number candles suitable for adults?

Yes, the rose gold and pink and gold versions in particular look elegant and are a lovely choice for milestone birthdays, wedding anniversaries or a hen party.

How do I fix the candle on a fondant cake?

Pre-pierce the spot with a toothpick, then push the candle in straight. The fondant stays smooth and the number stands securely.
