Fondant embossers & cutters

In just a few moves, a plain sheet of fondant becomes a surface full of pattern, lettering or borders. Our fondant embossers and cutters press texture straight into the paste or cut out shapes with clean edges. Quilted surfaces, playful borders and personal messages are all within reach, without a piping bag in sight.

Patterns, letters and characters

For lettering, the 52-piece alphabet embossing set is a firm favourite, complemented by the numbers and symbols set. All-over patterns are easy with the lattice, brick wall, circles, starry sky or little hearts embossers. If you prefer rolling, reach for the 25 cm embossing rolling pin with hearts or stars, or the 30 cm ribbed texture roller. For children's parties there are Paw Patrol embossing cutters and a fox cutter with plunger.

Embossing and cutting the right way

Emboss fondant while it is fresh and pliable. Roll it out to around 3 mm using guide rings, place the embosser on top and press evenly without letting it slip. Large patterns are best embossed before covering the cake, while small ornaments can go straight onto a covered cake. For cutting, let the paste firm up briefly and dust the cutter with starch for crisp edges. Rolling pins and mats are available in our Rolling pins, mats & pastry wheels category.

Care and tips

Clean embossers and cutters with a soft brush and warm water, then dry them thoroughly. The embossing and stitching wheel adds fine decorative seams, perfect for a fabric or leather effect. More designs for three-dimensional decorations are waiting in our Silicone moulds & mats category.
