The all new sponge cake mix is easier to use, lighter and tastier, packed in a new self-supporting, 1kg paper bag! Your cake will have more air and volume, to ensure the lightest texture, and the highest quality for your cake.
All you need to add to the mix to create a wonderful cake is: eggs, water and, if you wish, grated lemon zest. You will bake a beautifully flat and tasty cake which you can then decorate in any way you wish. This 5kg bag is enough to bake 15 cakes of 26-28cm in diameter, or 20 round cakes of 22-24cm in diameter.
Tip: For a lovely chocolate sponge cake add 40 grams of cocoa, 20 grams of icing sugar and about half an egg. Even better would be to add melted or grated chocolate.
